Join us at Lacock Village Hall to learn about the wonderful Lacock Abbey recipes with food historian Sally McPherson, see demonstrations of cookery by Lacock W.I. and taste food based on authentic recipes. Join in with a craft activity inspired by stories of friendship in the Lacock Archives – led by Sue Steel.

Discover more about the historical document and take a closer look at a 1940s facsimile of the 1225 Magna Carta plus two medieval copies of the 1225 version of Magna Carta.

Lacock Unlocked – Heroes and Villains of Lacock:
A creative writing workshop ideal for 7-12 year olds and their families with graphic novelist Liz Greenfield. Using stories from the Lacock Archives of Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre, create your own comic to take home.

Lacock ‘Memory Days’
Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre will be holding monthly ‘drop in’ sessions in Lacock. These will be an opportunity for local residents to come and share their photographs and documents and for copies to be made for the community archive website.
