We’re delighted to be joined by Joe Roberts, a novelist, travel writer and a regular contributor to Conde Nast Traveller. Joe has published two collections of travel writing; “Three-quarters of a Footprint: Travels in South India” and “Abdul's Taxi To Kalighat: Impressions of Calcutta”. He is also the author of the novel “Bengal, the Cold Weather 1873: A Dream of Edward Lear in India”.
Joe uses history as an inspiration to write and will be getting stuck into the archives at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre on 4th October.
Come along between 11am-3pm, ask him your writing questions, find out more about his work and get inspired. At the same time explore some of the rich resources the History Centre has to offer.
For your diary - Future Writers in Residence at WSHC: 4th November, 5th December and 22nd January.
